About MIBOR
The Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® (MIBOR) is the professional association representing central Indiana’s REALTORS®. On January 3, 1912, the Indianapolis Real Estate Board was officially established at a meeting at the Commercial Club in downtown Indianapolis. That day, 43 firms became dues-paying members of the organization. Our organization is regional in nature, reflective of the name change to Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® in 1979. Today, MIBOR serves more than 6,500 members in Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, and Shelby counties. In addition to serving these counties, MIBOR also provides a Broker Listing Cooperative® listing service to REALTORS® in Decatur, Madison, and Putnam counties. MIBOR serves its core membership of real estate professionals and plays a pivotal role in community and economic development efforts across central Indiana.
