BILL HACKER PROMOTES REALTOR® ROLE IN SUPER BOWL HOUSING LEGACY
The chair of your Building a Living Legacy campaign, Bill Hacker, recently described the real estate industry’s role in the Super Bowl Housing Legacy Project as part of a yearlong television series. Hacker appears in the 30-minute program, produced locally by WFYI. Nearing the Goal: Indy's Super Bowl Legacy Part II, is designed to explore the numerous community aspects of the game.

The program originally aired Thursday, Nov. 10. Look for it to repeat over the next six weeks. The next primetime airing is Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 pm. Set your DVD to catch Bill speaking up for all your amazing efforts!

FORMER PRO-BOWLER HITS FUNDRAISING TRAIL
Honorary Co-Chair of the Building a Living Legacy campaign chair Tarik Glenn has been hitting the fundraising trail lately to move the campaign and central Indiana REALTORS® into the red zone. Tarik visited with the MIBOR Past Presidents at their annual luncheon in late October. The following week, he was a featured speaker at a fundraising luncheon attended by commercial REALTORS® from around the state. Since the campaign’s inception, Tarik has lent his support and time to generate interest and make the project a reality. We recently asked Tarik about his involvement in this project along with his family’s passion for philanthropy. Click here to view a brief video clip. ADOPT A HOUSE UPDATE
To date, 17 Building a Living Legacy families have been adopted as they have moved into their new homes. Individual offices and groups, such as divisions, have collected basic household items to help the families get settled. Most recently, CENTURY 21 Scheetz and this year’s REAL class have adopted families. Click here to view photos of their adoptions.


REBECCA'S STORY

VIDEO RELEASE PARTY COMING JANUARY 3
By now you know January 3, 2012 is a special day. If you have been following centennial promotions, you know that the day marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of your trade association. In honor of this milestone, join us for a special video release party at the WFYI Studios at 1630 N. Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis. There you will be the first to see the 30-minute video that chronicles the real estate industry in central Indiana. As noted above, the video is included in the full edition of REALTORS:  Opening Doors for 100 Years. Plan to join us at either of two showing times; 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. for a one-hour event.
